Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 3/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 cup melted butter or vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and orange zest.
- In a separate bowl, mix orange juice, melted butter, and egg until well blended.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the cranberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
