- 1 ounce pineapple juice (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 ounce triple sec or Cointreau
- Pineapple slices, for garnish
- Lime wheel, for garnish
- Salt or sugar, for rimming the glass
Instructions
- Rim a margarita glass with lime juice and then dip in salt or sugar to coat the rim.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, pineapple juice, and triple sec with ice.
- Shake well until the outside of the shaker is frosty, about 15-20 seconds.
- Strain into the prepared glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a lime wheel.
Notes
- For a frozen Pineapple Margarita, blend the ingredients with ice in a blender until smooth.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less pineapple juice or a splash of simple syrup if desired.
