Description

The Pineapple Margarita mixes the tangy sweetness of pineapple with the bold flavor of tequila, creating a tropical cocktail that's both refreshing and delightfully sharp.


Ingredients

  • 2 ounces tequila (preferably blanco for a smoother taste)
  • 1 ounce lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 ounce pineapple juice (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 ounce triple sec or Cointreau
  • Pineapple slices, for garnish
  • Lime wheel, for garnish
  • Salt or sugar, for rimming the glass

Instructions

  1. Rim a margarita glass with lime juice and then dip in salt or sugar to coat the rim.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, pineapple juice, and triple sec with ice.
  3. Shake well until the outside of the shaker is frosty, about 15-20 seconds.
  4. Strain into the prepared glass filled with ice.
  5. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a lime wheel.

  • For a frozen Pineapple Margarita, blend the ingredients with ice in a blender until smooth.
