Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar

  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, oil, eggs, and sugar until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to pumpkin mixture and mix until smooth.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  • For the frosting, beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until creamy.
