1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tbsp unsalted butter

2 tbsp olive oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1/4 cup dry white wine

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Cooked pasta or crusty bread, for serving


Instructions

  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp, cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in white wine and lemon juice; simmer 2–3 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with parsley, and serve.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a touch of grated Parmesan or serve with lemon wedges. Use fresh shrimp for best taste.
