This Slow Cooker Turkey Chili recipe is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional beef chili. Made with lean ground turkey, beans, and spices, it’s an easy, low-fat meal that’s perfect for busy days.


Ingredients

  • Ground turkey
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Canned tomatoes
  • Tomato sauce
  • Black beans
  • Kidney beans
  • Chili powder
  • Cumin
  • Paprika
  • Oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Chicken broth


Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté chopped onions until softened.
  • Add minced garlic and ground turkey, cook until browned.
  • Transfer turkey mixture to the slow cooker.
  • Add canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, black beans, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and chicken broth.
  • Stir well, cover, and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste, and serve with your favorite toppings.

Notes

 

For a thicker chili, reduce the amount of chicken broth. You can also add more veggies like bell peppers or corn for extra nutrition.
