Description

Replenish your electrolytes and stay hydrated with this homemade Snake Juice recipe. A simple blend of salts and water can help support those on extended fasts or intense workouts.

Ingredients

  • 2 liters of water
  • 1 tsp potassium chloride (often sold as "No Salt" or similar salt substitutes)
  • 0.5 tsp sodium chloride (standard table salt)
  • 1 tsp baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)
  • 0.5 tsp magnesium sulfate (optional, can be found as food-grade Epsom salt)

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in the 2 liters of water.
  2. Shake or stir well until all the salts are dissolved.
  3. Consume throughout the day as needed.

Notes

  • Always consult with a healthcare professional before introducing any electrolyte solutions or fasting regimens into your routine, especially if consumed in large quantities or over extended periods.
  • Magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) should be food grade if consumed. Not all Epsom salts are suitable for ingestion.
  • This drink doesn't taste particularly pleasant due to its salt content. It's designed for electrolyte replenishment rather than flavor.
