Ingredients

  • Donuts:
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)
    • 6 Tablespoons granulated sugar
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 4 Tablespoons vanilla Greek yogurt (or plain or strawberry)
    • 2 Tablespoons milk (vanilla almond milk used)
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    • 1 Tablespoon (14g) unsalted butter, melted
  • Strawberry Frosting:
    • 34 strawberries
    • 1 Tablespoon strawberry jam
    • 12 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted
    • Optional: red sprinkles


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare a donut pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients for the donuts in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients, then mix into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  4. Fill the donut pan and bake until golden.
  5. For the frosting, blend the strawberries and jam, then gradually add confectioners’ sugar to achieve the desired consistency.
  6. Once donuts are cool, apply frosting and add sprinkles if desired.
