Ingredients
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked, crumbled bacon or sausage (optional)
- 6 slices of bread, cubed (or 2 cups of frozen hash browns)
- 1/2 cup diced onions (optional)
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the shredded cheese, cooked meat, bread cubes (or hash browns), onions, and bell peppers.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
- Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
