Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
- Add ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper to the skillet, mixing well.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese and diced pickles.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Add 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture onto the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, then roll tightly to form an egg roll. Seal edges with water.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with dipping sauces of choice.

- For a healthier version, bake the egg rolls at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway.
