Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook egg noodles according to package directions, then drain.
  • In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, peas and carrots, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir in the cooked noodles until well combined.
  • Transfer to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and top with breadcrumbs, if using.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and the top is golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can swap out the cream of chicken soup for cream of mushroom or cream of celery for a different flavor.
  • Add a crispy breadcrumb topping by mixing the crumbs with melted butter before sprinkling on top.
