Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls, toasted
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell pepper, cooking for 5-7 minutes until softened and slightly caramelized. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced chicken. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce and return the cooked onions and peppers to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to combine the flavors.
- Divide the chicken mixture into 4 portions in the skillet. Top each portion with a slice of provolone cheese and let it melt.
- Spoon the chicken, peppers, and onions into the toasted hoagie rolls. Serve immediately.
