Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin or tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12 ounces egg noodles, cooked
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef slices until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
  • Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Gradually add beef broth, stirring until the sauce thickens.

  • Serve the stroganoff over cooked egg noodles and garnish with chopped parsley.
