This easy ground beef stroganoff recipe combines tender beef, creamy mushrooms, and egg noodles for a comforting, quick, and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz egg noodles, cooked
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions, garlic, and mushrooms until softened.
- Sprinkle flour over the veggies and stir well. Gradually pour in beef broth, stirring to create a smooth sauce.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
- Reduce heat, stir in sour cream, and return the cooked ground beef to the skillet. Mix well.
- Serve the stroganoff over egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
