Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz egg noodles, cooked
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook egg noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté onions, garlic, and mushrooms until softened.
  • Sprinkle flour over the veggies and stir well. Gradually pour in beef broth, stirring to create a smooth sauce.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
  • Reduce heat, stir in sour cream, and return the cooked ground beef to the skillet. Mix well.
  • Serve the stroganoff over egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
