Make parties fun with these Ice Cream Cone Cake Pops! Easy recipe using cake mix and candy melts, perfect for any celebration.
Ingredients
- 1 box cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare)
- 1 container (16 oz) frosting
- 24 mini ice cream cones
- 24 lollipop sticks
- 2 bags (12 oz each) candy melts (various colors)
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Bake the cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix with frosting until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Insert a lollipop stick into each cake ball and place them in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- Melt the candy melts according to package instructions.
- Dip the top of each ice cream cone into the melted candy, then attach a cake pop ball to the cone.
- Dip the cake pop ball into the candy melts, covering completely. Allow excess to drip off.
- Decorate with sprinkles while the coating is still wet.
- Stand the cones upright in a styrofoam block to dry.
