Make parties fun with these Ice Cream Cone Cake Pops! Easy recipe using cake mix and candy melts, perfect for any celebration.


Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare)
  • 1 container (16 oz) frosting
  • 24 mini ice cream cones
  • 24 lollipop sticks
  • 2 bags (12 oz each) candy melts (various colors)
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix with frosting until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Insert a lollipop stick into each cake ball and place them in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the candy melts according to package instructions.
  6. Dip the top of each ice cream cone into the melted candy, then attach a cake pop ball to the cone.
  7. Dip the cake pop ball into the candy melts, covering completely. Allow excess to drip off.
  8. Decorate with sprinkles while the coating is still wet.
  9. Stand the cones upright in a styrofoam block to dry.
