Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package instructions
- 2 cups pulled pork (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 4 cups prepared macaroni and cheese (homemade or boxed)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Crispy fried onions (optional for topping)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the pulled pork with the barbecue sauce.
- Spread a thin layer of the barbecue pulled pork at the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place 4 lasagna noodles over the pork.
- Spread half of the macaroni and cheese over the noodles.
- Sprinkle a third of the shredded cheddar cheese over the mac and cheese.
- Add another layer of 4 lasagna noodles.
- Spread the remaining barbecue pulled pork over the noodles.
- Add another layer of 4 lasagna noodles.
- Spread the remaining macaroni and cheese over the noodles and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped green onions and optional crispy fried onions before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the amounts of pulled pork, barbecue sauce, or macaroni and cheese to your preference.
