Description

Try these mouthwatering sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sliders with a syrup glaze. Perfect for brunch or a special breakfast, these sliders combine savory sausage, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese on soft rolls, all topped with a sweet syrup glaze. Easy to make and irresistible to eat.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls
  • 8 large eggs
  • 12 sausage patties
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook sausage patties until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until scrambled and set. Remove from heat.
  • Slice slider rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
  • Layer each roll with a sausage patty, scrambled eggs, and a slice of cheese.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter and maple syrup. Brush the syrup glaze generously over the tops of the sliders.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  • Serve warm, optionally garnished with extra syrup.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, use hot sausage patties or add a dash of hot sauce to the egg mixture.
  • These sliders can be made ahead and reheated in the oven or microwave.
  • Customize with your favorite cheese or add sautéed veggies for extra flavor.
