Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic, cook until softened.
- Stir in frozen peas and carrots, cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread mashed potatoes over the beef mixture in an even layer.
- Transfer skillet to the oven, bake for 20 minutes or until potatoes are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
