Description

This Strawberry Margarita is a fruity twist on the classic, blending fresh strawberries with tequila for a sweet, vibrant cocktail that's irresistibly delicious.


Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

2 ounces tequila

1 ounce lime juice (freshly squeezed)

1/2 ounce triple sec or Cointreau

1/2 ounce simple syrup or agave nectar

Ice cubes

Salt or sugar for rimming the glass

Lime slices and strawberry slices for garnish


Instructions

If desired, rim a margarita glass with lime juice and then dip in salt or sugar to coat the rim.

In a blender, combine strawberries, tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup with a handful of ice.

Blend until smooth.

Pour the mixture into the prepared glass.

Garnish with a lime slice and a strawberry slice.


Notes

For a frozen version, use frozen strawberries and add more ice to achieve a thicker consistency.

Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of simple syrup or agave nectar.
